The printhead unit supports up to five printheads. An integrated laser permanently measures the distance to the wall. This enables the printhead to compensate for unevenness in walls of up to 10 cm.

UV ink specially made in Europe, vegan and cures within milliseconds and is scratch resistant. The ink consumption for a wall print is between 2 and 6 ml per square meters depending on the size.
5. Self-driven and steerable.
The rear axle of the wallPen® is driven, while the front wheels are steerable so that the printer can move precisely along the wall.

Up to what size can the printer wallPen® E2 print?Print height: The vertical axis is extremely flexible as it can be extended in steps of 10 cm. The lowest ceiling height for using the printer is 1.7 m. After this, the axis can possibly be extended up to 4 m. Print height in intervals of 10 cm. Print width: unlimited. Due to the limitations of inkjet (ink printer) technology, there are margins in corners to adjacent walls, floor and ceiling. These are 6 cm. to the left, 10 cm. to the right, 25 cm. on top and 25 cm. at the bottom.

Which motifs (pictures) can be printed?Virtually any graphic, sketch, image, logo, design or text can be printed! So AI, EPS, TIF, PNG, JPG, BMP files are generally no problem! With a graphics software such as "Photoshop", "Gimp" or "Affinity Photo", your motifs can be quickly and very easily prepared for printing under Windows or MacOS. Even very small texts and colored logos next to and on doors and in entrances, (hallways) are possible. So the unit is also an ideal sign and logo solution for companies, schools or in hospitals, hotels, museums and many other facilities. Even paper art can be printed perfectly! With a simple flatbed scanner, we have already achieved fantastic results by scanning at the highest resolution. Processing and printing old originals, maps, drawings, postcards, sketches, photos or paintings works perfectly and the results are absolutely impressive. So it's just a few clicks from any paper artwork to oversized artwork.

Can the printer wallPen® E2 compensate for unevenness in walls and floors?Yes, there is a leveling system in the rear axle that compensates for surface unevenness in the floor. In addition, laser sensors have been installed that detect wall irregularities of up to 10cm. in real time. The print head thus moves continuously and automatically back and forth depending on the wall surface.

What surfaces and materials can be printed on?We use a very resistant, plastic-like UV ink that hardens immediately under the integrated UV curing lamps and can be used on almost any substrate. Thus, plaster, wallpaper, wood, brick, latex paint, stone, clinker, plastic, metal, glass, most tiles and many other materials can be printed on without problems. Even natural stone, clinker or rough plaster and brick facades can be printed on without problems, up to a contour depth of approx. 10 mm.

Is the print result later also UV-resistant, scratch-resistant and durable?The vegan and ISO certified ink is also UV resistant and maintains color fastness for 12+ years indoors and 2+ years outdoors. For extreme environments, a clear coat or a UV coating can be applied to improve resistance and, among other things, extend the outdoor color fastness to more than 5 years. Thanks to the UV-cured ink, pictures are also instantly scratch- and abrasion resistant when the WallPrinter paints on the wall.

How long does it take to print a motif (picture)?The speed is - depending on the chosen quality and resolution - between 1.8 and 3.6 square meters. per hour.

Can I remove a wall print?Of course! On glass with a ceramic hob scraper or a razor blade. Otherwise, a print can always be painted over in two or three layers. Only wood must be sanded or - as with metal or concrete - sandblasted or glass bead blasted.

Can I also rent the printer wallPen® E2?Unfortunately, it is not possible to rent it.
